Build With Education Africa Social Architecture
On site
Each participant commits to (at least) 2 weeks on site. Site days are Monday to Friday and weekends are for exploring and relaxing.... or ziplining.

Participant Contribution
Our participants contribute £2000 (€2300). This covers 100% of expected in country costs as long as you are with the build. This also contributes to the construction of the new pre-school. Each project requires 30 participants to go ahead.

Social Impact
Our earliest projects are now 20 years old. That is nearly a full generation of kids going to pre-school in an inviting, engaging, exciting space. Nearly half a million kids will have been to pre-school in a Education Africa Social Architecture space. 85% of our donations and participant fees are invested locally in South Africa.

How do I join?

Reserve your Spot
We'll ask you to pay a 10% deposit to secure your spot. This will become non-refundable after the project is confirmed.

See your Doc
We ask all our participants and team leaders to see their doctor before engaging in construction work and travelling to rural South Africa.

Make Payment
We'll ask you to make a payment two to three months before you are due to travel. This will be used to arrange your accomodation, catering, and the build supplies.

Arrange Travel
When you receive your confirmation project packet - you should arrange your travel to Jo'burg. We're happy to answer questions about adding extra days in South Africa.

Get Building
We'll collect you at the airport in Joburg and get you settled in and on site!
